Because the best way to experience the bush
begins at Nambiti Plains…
“Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and incredible staff
We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The staff were so friendly and the attention to detail was wonderful. Our room was luxurious and comfortable. The common areas were beautiful and cozy. Our meals were delicious with lovely presentation. My wife has some dietary needs that every effort was made to accommodate while keeping the meals enjoyable. The Animal were of course the highlight. Absolutely breathtaking scenery and animal viewings. What a privilege to have stayed at Nambiti Planes lodge.”

As a family-owned lodge, it is the conservation of our natural heritage that inspires us to give every guest the safari of a lifetime. From the very beginning, our focus at Nambiti Plains has been to provide an authentic experience of the African bush.
This is why we offer two daily game drives to all our guests – one in the early morning, another in the late afternoon.
We can’t wait to share the sights, smells and sounds of Africa with you.
“Game was out of this world – very close encounters – and staff were excellent; can’t wait to go back!” – Arno H, TripAdvisor
Along with the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo), Nambiti is home to over 40 other mammal species of all shapes and sizes. If you’re a keen birder, read more about how we go out of our way to maximse your sightings.
The bush is unpredictable by nature – that’s what makes it so unique and exciting. At Nambiti Plains, we believe in ‘slow-lane’ safaris, where we appreciate all of nature’s wonders.
Our guides are experts in the circle of life and how it spins both slowly and frenetically in the African bush. They will offer you wildlife lessons from their own cultures and experiences; they will tell stories and share anecdotes; they will explain, inform, educate, and then sit back and let you fall in love with the wild in your own way.
If you feel like staying put in the luxury of the lodge, you can enjoy your own wildlife viewing from the comfort of a deck chair on your private patio. Read more about the wonders of a stay-at-home safari at Nambiti Plains.
We also offer private game viewing experiences, bush picnics, walking safaris and private dinners under the stars. Read more about these unique experiences.
